This butter garlic mushroom isn’t a fancy recipe with much of ingredients but I wonder how with such simple ingredients that is availbale in your pantry you can make a succulent breakfast/snack.

This is the first time I am trying such a combination as I end up making some south indian dishes whenever I buy mushrooms.But this time wanted to try something variegated and tried this, it is such a simple recipe but a splash of flavours.We all loved it so much that I am planning to make it often.

The main important step to make perfect shiny butter garlic mushroom is cooking them right. As I’ve mentioned in my notes do not alimony stirring, just requite a saute and let it melt by itself until browned.

Butter Garlic Mushroom Ingredients

With just few ingredients this butter garlic mushroom is packed with flavour that comes from butter,garlic and herbs. Do try this easy butter garlic mushroom and enjoy!

  • Mushroom – Choose sawed-off mushrooms that are fresh, white,and small.
  • Butter – There is no oil used here only butter so use butter generously.
  • Garlic – You can either fine chop garlic or use a crusher to crush it too.
  • Herbs – Mixed herbs and pepper powder are used for this dish. The only fresh herb we use here is coriander leaves which lends a unconfined flavour to this dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mushroom around 100 gms rinsed and cleaned
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp garlic minced
  • 1 tsp crushed pepper
  • 1 tsp thyme / mixed herbs
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves finely chopped

Instructions

  • Rinse and wipe mushroom well, Slice in thin and set aside.
  • Melt butter in a pan – add garlic saute for 2 mins. Then add mushroom.
  • Saute for a minute, let it melt for a minute then saute again. It will leave out water, so melt until dry. Add pepper, mixed herbs.
  • Give a quick saute, add required salt, coriander leaves. Saute for a minute then switch off. Enjoy Garlic Mushrooms!

  • You can use a tawa that is unappetizing so that it cooks evenly.

Garlic Mushrooms Step by Step

1.Rinse and clean mushroom well, Slice in thin and set aside. Melt 1 tbsp butter in a pan.

2.Add 1 tbsp minced garlic.

3.Saute for 2 mins.

4.Then add mushroom.

5.Saute for a minute, let it melt for a minute then saute again.

6.It will leave out water, so saute and melt until dry.

7.Add 1 tsp crushed pepper, 1 tsp mixed herbs.

8.Give a quick saute.

9. Add required salt, 1 tbsp coriander leaves.

10.Saute for a minute then switch off.

11.Garlic Mushrooms are ready!

Serve hot with toast!

Expert Tips

  • You can add herbs like thyme or oregano or mixed herbs.
  • If you like , you can plane add a pinch of pizza seasoning with chilli flakes too.
  • Button mushrooms is preferred for this recipe and am not sure whether this would suit any other mushroom variety.
  • You can serve it with toasties / scrambles eggs or have it as such like we did.
